What a wicked, sick, twisted, creepy book, I want to read it again! My god, it’s hard to fathom where the inspiration for this story came from, unbelievable. I’ve read quite a few books by Michael Brent Collins and loved them all, but this one has to be the best. I have to say, I think I’m pretty fearless, it takes a lot of courage to scare me, make me jump, etc. But when it comes to centipedes, yes I’m talking about centipedes, I get scared. I hate them! When I read about the Centipede Invasion, that’s it! Ah, but I’m overthinking it a bit. Let’s start over.
Twisted is the latest work from Michael Brent Collins, the bestselling author of Colonial Tales, Mad Men, Haunted, and the young adult series Billy Tales.
Blake Douglas has been trying to move on from an abusive childhood. Now married with a family of his own, you’d think the poor guy would finally get his way and live happily ever after, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. With money tight and jobs scarce, Blake’s life is tight. Haunted by nightmares of his past and the fear of possibly becoming like his father, Blake doesn’t want to take on more, but things keep piling up. A newborn daughter with health issues is just one more thing he has to deal with, if only that were the end of it.
“Little legs appeared at the edge of the crack. Two. Then four. Then six. Then countless. Insect legs, serrated, long, and clawed.”
“Something is coming, something is coming, something… is coming.”
Screams! Blake was awakened by screams. Walking into his son’s room was like waking up from a nightmare. This was just the beginning, it got worse, much worse. I hate spoilers, I won’t say any more, I’ll just tell you to read this book, it’s good! You can get your copy here.
