Talk about a truly valuable viewer’s guide? Talk about Grimm: Beneath the Surface. This is a comprehensive work that digs into the deepest depths of Grimm. Forgot the name or habits of a Wesen that caught your attention early in the series? Chances are it’s covered here. Yearning to get deeper into the minds of your favorite characters? Yep, you’ll enjoy that luxury too. The coverage is comprehensive, spanning a wide range of heroes and villains, with some odd thrills mixed in. Without a doubt, this is a top-notch work for any Grimm fan to add to their collection.
Filled with vivid images – both production and set photos – this series will keep fans of Grimm hooked on its brilliant and wide-ranging material. Most of the cast gives their own thoughts and opinions on the characters they play. David Giuntoli as Grimm, Nick Burkhardt offers some very cool insights, as do Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe, Nick’s main Wesen fighting partner), Russell Hornsby (Nick’s partner), and the severely underrated Reggie Lee (who plays the always lovable Sergeant Wu).
The entire crew is filled with amazing insights. We learn some crazy facts from the special effects team and the show’s front runners. And, as mentioned before, there’s even a thorough guide to the villains Nick and company are forced to tangle with. Blutbad, Gluhenvolk, Coyotl, Murcielago, Damonfeuer, Lowen, the Hexenbiest; these are just a few of the creatures explained in detail, which is pretty cool because, let’s face it, sometimes these creatures can be a little confusing.
Another highlight of this book is the brief synopsis of each episode from the first two seasons of the show. This is a great idea and might help those who missed an episode or two. I’m telling you, this book has just about everything you could ever want to know about NBC’s Grimm. This book is fantastic and has proven to be a top notch insider’s guide!
Much more interesting than the companion novel I featured recently.
Order here, it’s worth every penny.
